My grandfather had been running a transportation company, Maruei-shoten in early Showa period, before the war.
This is his first truck , shot in front of Kyoto JR Station on February 27, 1937.
At that time there were few car services, so that the bunch of brothers, including my dad, had to repair
their trucks by themselves at their own garage.
When I was a kid, the garage was always with me.
I used to be there with bunch of my buddies together around the garage after dark.
